First roll of film

This is my first ever roll of film. It was shot on my Olympus OM1-MD from 1974 (SN:446XXX) with the Zuiko MC 50mm f1.4. I shot on Ilford Delta 400.\ I made quite a few mistakes with this first roll and only came out with ~6 usable images out of them all.

  1. I managed to get 39 exposures out of a 36 exposure roll. The first 3 photos I took too early as I didn’t wind on enough. This means there were quite a lot of light leaks.
  2. My exposure is quite off on a lot of them. I need to learn the metering better for this camera. The battery for the meter is also modern and non-mercury, so it may be showing slightly different
  3. I forgot to put the film reverse switch on before winding my film back into the roll. This means I put pressure on the film and stretched it by pulling too hard on the perforations. Example of how the negative looks (not my negatives):

taught sprocket holes

Here’s the images in the order they were shot. The ones cropped 5x4 with a star next to them are what I’d say are ‘keepers’:
